I’m Nic Garner and I started riding in 1976. My first ‘proper’ bike was a Yamaha FS1E DX and to this day that first year of riding has been the best. Since then I’ve owned, stripped, rebuilt, serviced, and ridden many bikes. Each has its own story and each has a special place in my heart.
In 2007 I decided to put my experience to good use and learned to train others’ to ride. I’m now proud to say that I’m a qualified DVSA CBT and DAS instructor and a BMF advanced rider, trainer and examiner. I also have a Shoei-shaped head.
Motorbikes are my enduring passion. I believe that training others to ride is a privilege and I take care to do it well. Importantly, I also do it with good humour because if it ain’t fun, it’s just not worth doing, right?
